About Me
Sustainability. Risk. Resilience. Adaptation.
I am currently a pro-active sustainability professional working with large corporations in London from my Edinburgh base.
I have an academic background at the Institute for Risk and Disaster Reduction at University College London and the School of Political Science, University of Edinburgh.
I co-founded, grew and sold Scotland’s first commercial oat-milk business.
I would like to utilise my grounded knowledge and commercial awareness and for climate mitigation, adaptation, disaster reduction and response.

Services and Skills
Sustainability Consulting
Building from my specialised degree knowledge and private sector experience I offer consulting services for private business and public organisations. I have previously offered advisory services and more recently working in commercial proposals on behalf of consultants.
I have worked in the sustainable food sector and for a local church. With experience in formal studies of accountancy and business management I can help develop cost-effective and realistic plans.
Research Assistance
I have experience working with both qualitative and quantitative data. I have studied the abstract: the geographic imagination of vegan-climate activists; and the concrete: counter-data regarding journey’s fulfilled in Scotland.
I have experience with GIS (ArcMap), statistical analysis (SPSS/PSPP, R Studio) and qualitative research methods.

Testimonials
From the first moment, I have been very impressed with Callum’s intelligence, articulacy, commitment, written and oral skills, kindness and willingness to adapt as circumstances changed.
— John Sturrock, KC
Callum was meticulous in examining each part of our operation to see where we could make carbon savings, from where we sourced our oats, to where our food waste was sent, and even how we created a circular economy of our packaging.
— Alex Baldwin, Managing Director, Untitled Oats
